The Garage Gods write original music that sounds like its straight out of 1966.

As their name implies they specialize in Garage Rock, that elusive genre of music that is both primitive and polished, raw and refined.

The Garage Gods brand of garage tends to be more melodic featuring vintage Vox Organ, shimmery vibrato guitars, lots of powerful yet broody minor based songs with catchy melodies and tight harmonies.

The band was formed at the beginning of 2007 in Portland Oregon and has played shows across the Northwest and California.

The band just released its first single “Had Enough Of Your Lies” a 7” vinyl 45 from Lost In Tyme Records & Fanzine of Athens Greece which is currently featured on the primitiveshow podcast and garagepunk.com’s state of mynd #17 Look for an upcoming review in Shinding Magazine.

The band is currently in the studio recording their full length LP to be released next year.
