The New Fidelity is on fire. Increasingly approached by radio, TV and film companies for song placements, the band will bleed into your homes imminently, if it hasn’t already. Decked out in their sharp suits and completely immersed in their own unique spin on 60’s influenced mod power pop, The New Fi’s talented members consistently deliver tight songs more finely tailored than a classic mohair suit.

The New Fi’s music has already been featured on prime-time television shows on ABC, NBC, The WB and FuelTV with more placements to come.

Rodney Bingenheimer is a big fan of the band, regularly playing tracks from and heralding their latest CD ‘Tiny Slivers’on KROQ’s Rodney on the ROQradio show in Los Angeles, where The New Fi also receive occasional spins on Indie 103.1 and Star 98.7. The band also was played on KCRW’S Morning Becomes Eclectic with Nic Harcourt and enjoyed an instant jump in interest from a whole new audience. The Tiny Slivers CD is garnering repeated airplay on popular stations nationwide, as well as appearing on internet stations including MOD Radio UK, Canadian Music Rocks and Indie Pop Rocks.

The New Fi made its first movie appearance performing in a dance club scene in the upcoming independent film We Are The Mods and more performances on the silver screen are planned for 2009 and beyond, including the possible background music to Vespa scooter chase scene in a to-be-released independent film featured Henry Winkler!!

Performing club dates with regularity, the band is just as at home at scooter rallies and on festival stages where they can seamlessly mix their original songs with covers of Mod and Soul classics.

Influences include British Pop Rock such as Small Faces, The Who and The Beatles with healthy portions of Motown and Stax, mixed with punk and post-punk sensibilities such as the Clash and the Jam.

Move on up to The New Fidelity!
