The Lava Rats have been rocking the Bay Area's collective **** for over five years now. We play fast and loud, and wear really neat matching ties onstage. There is yet another CD in the works, so keep your eyes peeled.

--Bill never breaks guitar strings, because he's that good. He plays a Mosrite through a Dual Showman; it's loud, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

--Rodd doesn't break bass strings because he's ever so suave, and breaking bass strings is "bush." He plays a P-bass through an GK Backline 600 head and an SWR 4x10 cab. It's more than loud enough to keep up with Bill's gear.

--Taylor ALWAYS breaks drumsticks, because he's that good. He plays an Ayotte drum kit. He's the reason the rest of the Rats have big loud amps.
