The Barbacans are a new garage band from central Italy, influenced by the garage revival of the 80's and the original fuzz-punk of the 60s. Dominated by the swirling sounds of the incomparable Farfisa organ and the brutal never ending fuzz attacks, The Barbacans follow the tradition of all those wylde, primitive teen-punk combos Italy had to offer in the eighties, such as the UGLY THINGS, the SICK ROSE and the PRIMETEENS. Their debut-album 'God save the Fuzz' was recorded at the famous Circo Perrotti Studio in Gijon, Spain by Mr. Jorge 'Dr.Explosion' Munoz and delivers 12 killer tracks of pure garage mayhem, you simply can't afford to miss. So if you dig bands like the SEEDS, the LYRES and the MORLOCKS, this one's for you daddy-oh! Great price, digipack!! |
