The Royal Hangmen are a 4-piece garage band hailing from Zurich,Switzerland. Influenced by insane, mind blowing sixties-garage beat, these guys know how to shake your ears with their fuzz-driven guitars, grinding VOX organ, stompin' backbeat and high energy screaming vocals. These wild-men play vintage instruments with a sound reminiscent of The Sonics, 13th Floor Elevators, Small Faces but with a style and energy all their own. The band’s first release is the 7" single "Mary Jane" / "You Better Tell That Girl" on the Lost In Tyme Records. Limited edition sure to become collectible! "Mary Jane" is an all out high energy Stomper that sounds like a cross of the Sonics meets the Animals with raw screaming energy and a hypnotic beat that's sure to get stuck in your head. "You Better Tell That Girl" is reminiscent of Nightcrawlers "Basket of flower" meets the Standells "Good Guys Don't Wear White" and a hint of Monkey's "Last Train To Clarksville" all rolled up into this killer anthem with a catchy 12 string melody and chorus that beckons you to sing along.
