Davie Allan is the boss hog, indeed the King of Fuzz Guitar!

The Arrows started out out life as a surf instrumental band, knocking out surf obscurities such as Comanche and covering Apache 65. They were an extremely popular surf band, but this wouldnt last, as the killer fuzz reared its ugly head.

In the late sixties, Davie Allan & The Arrows carved their niche in the musical history books with an array of classic instrumentals and two dozen motion picture soundtracks.

The most notable of the movies were the cult classics The Wild Angels, Devil's Angels, The Glory Stompers and Born Losers.

Davie's 1990s film work includes Jim Jarmusch's Night On Earth, Roger Corman's Not Like Us, MTV's Road Rules, Psycho Sisters, and From Dusk 'til Dawn, 2.

In 1999, they won the "LA Weekly Music Award" for Best Instrumental Band.

Drummer David Winogrond met with Davie in 1988 to play on Missing Link. They didn't hook up again until 1994 and have worked together ever since. David has also played with To Damascus (Sylvia Juncosa), The Germs, The Pat Smear Band and Skooshny (an ongoing recording only band since 1975, with whom he still works).

Bassist Bruce Wagner has played with drummer David in "Skooshny", "SS20" and Wagner solo projects. Bruce has also worked with (the late) Rozz Williams, members of "Shadow Project" and various unknown and unheard of bands.

In 1994, the critically acclaimed recording Loud, Loose and Savage (Top 10 CD pick ... San Francisco Chronicle, Guitar Player and Bam) brought back the "cycle-delic" sounds of cult legend
